Nazi Pope Strikes Out For Evil

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

Personally, I can’t understand how any rational person with even a modicum of education, can think that the Catholic church is run by anything but some of the most greedy, power-mad, religious whackjobs of history.  They turned entire hemispheres into slaves, killed millions in persecutions, and still hoard some of the most expensive earthly treasures on the planet, while having old ladies arrested for trying to keep their churches open, because they had to spend all their parishes’ money paying off the kids they knowingly let their priests molest.

I didn’t expect much from the Nazi-Pope, but you’d think he could manage to sell off one of  his totally gay hats to keep the lights on.  Then again, he would rather sit in luxury, than keep people from starving, less than a 1000 miles from his bed.  I dunno about you, but he’s not doing much to convince me that he doesn’t still stand for all the Nazi ideals he swore to as a teenager.

Now That’s a Paddlin’

I’m impressed with the level of self-deception it must take a christian with even the most passing interest in the bible, to actually re-create the scene of praying to the golden calf.

Popemobile = No Faith In God?

SNL had a good point tonight. How exactly does the pope justify a bulletproof car, if he’s supposed to be God’s chosen vessel on Earth?

boingboing are cowards

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

Having now read their “excuse”, I’ve got to say that I will never link to nor read from BoingBoing again.    Their actions have undone any good they ever attempted to do in the realms of open and honest communication, and I will always remember them as a bunch of slimy cowards that got caught trying to lie about being the biggest hypocrites since Fred Phelps.

Well OK, maybe only half a Phelps worth of hypocrisy.

But still…they are being dishonest about their rationale for this kerfuffle.  They say they wanted to spare ‘someone’ embarrassment.  But that’s not the truth.  The truth is contained in their statements about wanting to silence Violet Blue by denying her links.  If they tell everyone they aren’t linking to Violet Blue anymore, that’s just going to encourage people to search for her themselves, and they haven’t cost her any traffic.  It’s obvious they thought they could sneak in her disappearance from their web, and avoid sending any more traffic her way.

EPIC FAIL

It’s almost like Cory was right, back when he lived by his principles, instead of merely espousing them, that honesty is the best path thru dramatic waters.
