I’m hoping that they are planning on using their massive google-powers to track how often those unsubscribes end up generating more spam, rather than less.

I Have Voice

Google Voice that is.
Nice to finally get in on the cool toy all the kids have been talking about.

UPDATE:  Did an experiment with the Russian co-worker who has a mild accent, it was able to transcribe everything he said, except his name, with perfect accuracy.  I’m quite impressed.  I think I might try sending a song thru it, see how well it matches the lyrics.

Firefox/Google searchbox bug

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

open firefox on a machine with two monitors.

place the firefox window so that most of the window is on monitor 1, but the search box is on monitor 2.

start entering search terms.

when the auto-suggest feature kicks in, it’s displaying it’s dropdown on monitor 1, far away from the actual text-field on monitor 2.

Is it google, or firefox?
