Enough micro-payments, just charge me up front

The latest game to be ruined by the micro-payment craze, long time bubble popper favorite, renamed of course, with some silly RPG element layered on top, but the same bubble physics every game since the Turbo GraphFX has shared. Thankfully there’s still a prior backlog of games that you just had to pay for once out there, that did the game right, and even did a two player mode that was unique to the genre.

But more to my overall point, I get that it’s hard to figure out a way to get people to pay for games, when you are competing against free. I’m guilty of filling my devices with games from the free-for-a-day category, with the good-intention of repaying the generosity with a good-review, and never paying it back, even when I enjoyed the game. But the answer isn’t to try and nickel-and-dime players on a daily basis. If there even is an answer.
