There’s a church on queen anne, across the street from the “yummy togo” teriyaki place. At first glance, I thought the fence was just a random leaf pattern, but on closer inspection, the leaves are pierced with a collection of hands, some of which I’m not clear on the symbolism of.

During the run-up to the billionth app downloaded, I was grabbing anything that sounded even remotely interesting, and was free. Since then, the updates number has kept growing, so I finally went to try and download them all, no joy. At first I thought it was the number of apps involved, but it ended up having more to do with the name of one of the apps.
